About RadFae.org

The radfae.org web site exists to pull together Radical Faerie information: links, resources, web pages, news, information, and pointers to other faerie lists. The site was created in 1998 at the Beltane gathering at Wolf Creek as a way to connect Radical Faeries across different gatherings, regions, and online spaces. Over the years, it has served as a central hub for sharing resources, event details, and community information.

Today, a small circle of faeries is keeping the site going, ensuring it remains a useful and accessible resource for the wider faerie community. We’re here to help faeries stay connected, informed, and supported.

Who are the Radical Faeries?

Nobody speaks for Radical Faeries as a whole; certainly not us!

Generally, we tend to be queer people who look for a spiritual dimension to our sexuality; many of us are healers of one kind or another.

Our shared values include individual responsibility rather than hierarchy, gender fluidity, feminism, respect for the Earth. Many of us are pagan or follow a nature-based religion.

Our defining events are Faerie Gatherings, where we get together for an extended retreat, usually in the woods, separated from the outside world. A lot of that time is spent in “heart circles,” where we open up emotionally.

Of course, that’s just this circle’s attempt at a definition.
