In memory of our friend

We scanned some photos at the July 13 memorial in San Francisco; they'll be posted here in a few days. In the meantime, see this collection of mostly-college-era pictures of Blue; do be warned, though, that the pictures are large so the page will take a while to load.

Do you have pictures of Blue? I'm archiving them -- all of them -- (as many I can find) onto hard disk. Photographic prints fade, are damaged, or can get lost; once on a computer they won't deteriorate and can be copied for safekeeping. Pictures that aren't ready (or suitable) for posting to the public are fine, too; it's easy to create a private area with its own password.

Can your pictures be posted on this site, or do you have other material (for example, writings by or about Blue)? We'd love to include them!

Odds are, we'll start out by putting the photos onto PhotoPoint.com (except for some that go right on this page). Photopoint automatically provides thumbnails and different-sized images, and doesn't make visitors register or pay. Little work, no fuss! And it can happen soon.
Eventually, we'll display everything using the RadFae.org Web servers.
Text can be emailed directly to me.

For pictures, please just send me email describing what you've got; we can talk about file formats and scanner settings, or arrange for somebody to scan them if you don't have the equipment. Please let me know if the photographer has given permission.

Except: if you have a picture that's suitable for this home page, and that can be ready in JPEG format, under 60KB, by the middle of July, then go ahead and email it to me as a MIME attachment. Include caption info if you have it: date, location, people, photographer, etc.
